On the Gale literature series, Benjamin ran the projects end to end, managing a team of independent writers, editors, proofreaders, and researchers while doing much of that work himself.

Brand, campaign, platform
Milestone Documents
Milestone Documents publishes primary source collections for history and religious studies courses, in print and on its own digital platform. The identity starts with the mark: a book shedding pixels on its way to the screen. The launch campaign put history's heavy hitters to work, with Napoleon and Washington holding tablets under one line: "A new way to teach old stuff."

The Schlager Anthologies
A series of student guides to primary sources, built on one grid: a color field and stacked title on the left, an archival collage on the right, the editor's band across the foot. Each cover stands on its own. Together they read as a shelf.

Cover design
Milestone Documents reference sets
Multivolume reference sets for libraries, set in a classic small-caps register built to sit comfortably on a reference shelf. Each cover rests on a single image that carries the subject: a stained-glass Christ, a broken red chain, the Court at night.
